Successful Scrimmage Kicks Off the 2018-19 Season

The CTMSDL season began with a scrimmage at Smith Middle School, Glastonbury on Saturday, October 27.  156 debaters from 18 schools combined into 21 experienced teams and 36 brand new teams to debate the motion:

This House would include e-sports in the Olympic Games.

Our thanks to host Smith Middle School and Coach John Rook, and to all of the high school debaters who turned out to provide the demonstration debate, lead the workshops and judge.

Our next event is a tournament on December 1 at Seymour Middle School.
