The Connecticut Middle School Debate League invites you to attend a tournament on Saturday, December 19, 2020.
We’ll be using a new platform: NSDA Campus, accessed through Tabroom.com, that requires us to REGISTER TEAMS BY 11 PM TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2020. Coaches may edit but not add teams after that date.
Coaches will need to make sure their debaters and judges have Zoom and Tabroom accounts well ahead of time.

Debaters will debate three rounds of the motion:
This House believes that televised Presidential debates do more harm than good.

We will have Novice and Open divisions at this tournament; it is up to coaches to decide which category is appropriate for each of their teams. Only Open Level debaters are eligible to win trophies. Please read more on page 4 of the Handbook.
Coaches should register on Tabroom.com for the event CTMSDLdec19. There is no cap on the number of teams a school may enter. Coaches should also register one judge per every 2 teams entered. Observers may watch the final round only.
