Yesterday 222 debaters from 18 Middle Schools combined into 41 Novice and 39 Open Level teams to debate the motion: This House believes that state lotteries do more harm than good.

As always, coaches and debaters with Tabroom accounts linked to their schools may access ballots after logging in to Tabroom.com. 

Unfortunately, due to a Tabroom mix-up, we are not sharing Final Places for Novice teams and speakers.  Six teams were unable to debate a third round. 

The Irving A. Robbins Middle School team of Bloch, Lee, and Ganta won the final round on Proposition over the Amity team of Ni, Chen, and Lamour.

Toshan Bhattacharya from Bethel Middle School was the top Open level speaker.

Five teams from Irving A. Robbins, Amity, Hamden Hall, Memorial, and Timothy Edwards won all three of their Open level rounds.
